Inkle weaving is an old weaving technique with which you can weave a beautiful band for, for example, a key ring, belt, guitar strap, camera strap, laces, etc. The weaving of the band is done on an inkle loom. It is a small loom that is easy to carry.
Voor deze workshop is een bandweefgetouw nodig. Je kan tijdens de workshop weven op een van onze bandweefgetouwen. Je kan deze na de les nog een week huren voor 10€. De waarborg bedraagt 98€ voor een standaard Lojan bandweefgetouw of 73€ voor een Lojan ‘Inkeltje’ bandweefgetouw, je kan daarna ook beslissen om het bandweefgetouw (Lojan) te kopen, dat is dan geregeld met de waarborg. Als je zelf een bandweefgetouw hebt kan je die gebruiken.
Wil je het standaard bandweefgetouw of ‘Inkeltje’ bandweefgetouw (Lojan) direct aanschaffen, dan kan dit natuurlijk ook. De aanschafprijs voor het standaar bandweefgetouw (inclusief shuttle) is 98€ en voor het ‘Inkeltje’ bandweefgetouw (inclusief mini shuttle) is 73€.

You can use your own yarn (e.g. Catania from Schachenmayr), 3 to 4 colors is sufficient. You can also purchase yarn on site.
During the inkle weaving workshop you will learn how to:
- read a pattern
- make your own pattern
- make heddles
- set up the inkle loom
- weave
The workshop includes:
- the use of the inkle loom during the workshop
- coffee/tea/soft drinks and something tasty!
De workshop duurt 3u en de prijs bedraagt 50€ per persoon.

The studio is easy to reach and there is plenty of free parking in front of the door.
De workshop gaat door vanaf 4 personen met een maximum van 7 personen. Indien er niet voldoende deelnemers zijn wordt de workshop tenminste een week op voorhand geannuleerd met terugbetaling van inschrijvingsgeld of de mogelijkheid om in te schrijven voor een andere datum.
